The flagship of the EA line is the iAMP800. The Class D, digital, iAMP800 delivers an astounding 800 watts of pure, clean power. At a kilowatt, at 2 ohms, and a peak power rating of 2500 watts there is enough power to handle any gig, anywhere!

The iAMP features an isolated, fully shielded transformer, gold plated input and output jacks (except for the Speakon), both series and parallel effects loops, DI output, dual line voltage switch for both the US and Europe, onboard limiter, CD input and, of course, the unique EA tone shaping section. The result is a high performance, fully featured, small footprint rackmountable amp head that at under 20 pounds is comfortable powering speakers in a concert level environment. With an amazing efficiency rating of 85% the iAMP needs no cooling fan. Power when you demand it and silence when you don’t.

The innovation at EA continues...

At EA we always listen to our customers. So when a customer suggested we put an iAMP 500 head into the Wizzy Combo, we listened. The Wizzy 500 Combo features a 500 watt, Class D power amp and EA’s innovative, musical tone shaping section with the innovative Wizzy cabinet. The 12” driver with an integrated Whizzer cone is mounted in EA’s Transmission Line cabinet. The digital amplifier circuitry effortlessly produces 500 watts of Class D power without the noise or inconvenience of a cooling fan. The Wizzy’s 12” loudspeaker is actually a dual-cone device, designed to have a full bandwidth response that accurately produces every nuance of the player’s sound. The 12” driver and Whizzer cone simultaneously produce both low and high frequency signals from a single voice coil.*

*The design of the loudspeaker and transmission line provide a smoother and more extended low frequency output while faithfully reproducing the brilliance of the digital power amp. The result is a cabinet that has the old school vibe of the classic bass cabinets of the 60’s with the high end accuracy and power needed for today’s live performances and recording studios.
